Dear ExpertFinder friends,
After joining teleconf for first time, here's my introduction, I'm a doctoral student at the LSDIS Lab, Univesity of Georgia.
My research interest w.r.t ExpertFinder comes from my previous work on detection of 'conflicts of interest' under the scenario of peer-review, where it would also be useful to have the capability of determining/finding reviewers based on expertise.
Also related to ExpertFinder is a large populated ontology called 'SwetoDblp' that I created mostly from bibliography data of DBLP. Details and download files at http://lsdis.cs.uga.edu/projects/semdis/swetodblp/
We (LSDIS Lab) are local organizers of the ISWC'06 conference, including its website and hosting of metadata and related applications/prototypes. Such metadata/apps includes an ontology of topics in semantic web (created collaboratively at LSDIS Lab), and the creation of a FOAF dataset where interested people can submit their own FOAF profile.
These are at: http://iswc2006.semanticweb.org/program/tech_links.htm ,for which I'm the contact person, so, feel free to direct comments/suggestions to me.
Cheers,
- aleman
