eel pie island/Clifford Harper

Dan just bought a book of cartoons and interviews with a guy called
Clifford Harper, an anarchist illustrator. The pictures are great -
lithographs, some influenced by Escher, some more like Aubrey
Beardsley. Anyway, he used to live in a commune at Eel pie island, so I
thought I'd look it up, and found a memoir of a guy who used to be
there, and met this clifford.

there's lots of pictures of people (codepictions :), and a contacts page
for them to get together. Kinda like friends reunited. Wonder what all
the hippies and heads are doing now?
