[syndication] On aggregated buddy lists (fwd)

I hate to make a geeky discussion point from such a disaster, but I do
want to say that this is one aspect of the 'six degrees' hypthesis that
has always appealed to me. Probably naive... (not least since most people
don't know have internet access...)

Subject: RE: [syndication] On aggregated buddy lists

This interesting idea of aggregated buddy lists would probably also serve
humanity in another way. I would become clear that everyone on earth is in
some direct or indirect way related to all victims of violence and
terrorism.
How would a terrorist feel if he knew that he was related through a chain of
care to all of his victims. It scales down events like these from religious
or political acts to acts against people with friends and family. (I am
probably getting naive here, whatever...)

Just my two eurocents, take care,

Teun Duynstee
