You're right. I sent the test-run to www-archive, was going to drop
Leigh a note but you beat me to it.

Leigh, it sohudl be
<foaf:mbox_sha1sum>b264565d28b901c4211ceadf01f3dac9ea963c75</foaf:mbox_sha1sum>

That said, there is apparently a URI (URN...) schema for sha1. See
gerald's note to the fogo list recently:
http://impressive.net/archives/fogo/20020704080217.GA28661@i...

It'd be nice to be compatible with the p2p folks, but I don't like
encouraging the creation of top level URI schemas like sha1: or URN
spaces like urn:sha1:... when a humble RDF property is almost as useful.

Anyhow, for this application, the urn:sha1 thing doesn't seem quite
right, as it is couched in terms of 'files'. The file in this case I
guess is just the textual representation of a mailbox URI.

cheers,

Dan

ps. gerald, we're discussing Leigh's foaf-a-matic, which generates RDF
self-descriptions in clientside Javascript, now including hash of mailbox :)
