[rdfweb-dev] Proposal: Clean Up Your FOAF Week

I'd like to make a proposal.

Clean Up Your FOAF Week

What I'm thinking is that we make a big effort to tidy, clean, validate
and check our FOAF files. In the process we re-awaken interest in people
who've forgotten they even had one and we get to evangelise again. This
is obviously mainly aimed at people who create FOAF by hand but we
should all bash away at the systems that create FOAF automatically as
well.

It's an opportunity to clear out elements that are now deprecated and
add elements that have appeared relatively recently.

Some things that need checking:-
- seeAlso (and other link elements like img) that point at 404 not found
- img and depiction that point at html instead of gif, jpg, png etc
- loose Person entries that were meant to be foaf:knows
- changing mbox to mbox_sha1sum for other people
- including doc information, especially primaryTopic, topic, maker, made
- adding a signature if you haven't got one
- removing dummy, joke, test entries

For the people who like building tools, I'd dearly love to see a
validator that moved up the stack a bit and checked this sort of
recommended usage as well as just "is it valid RDF".
