I wasn't familiar with "Dehomag" so did a quick search. "Deutsche Hollerith
Maschinen Gesellschaft" was German branch of IBM apparently. During WW II
Their punched cards machine were used by the Nazis with the aim of recording
"individual characteristics of every single member of the nation," giving
Hitler data that could be used in "corrective interventions". Bloody hell.
