In response to several mails along these lines..

Plink already has this. The trouble is that people don't always know 
what email address has been used to generate the original sha1, so they 
try removing themselves and it doesn't always work.

Either that, or they're just too lazy to do it and would rather send a 
nasty email to someone instead.
