fyi: FOAF in RSS 2.0, spotted on the rss-extensions.org list.
(Johannes, rdfweb-dev is the FOAF list, amongst other things)
snippet -

Person: Jane Doe (Family)

My honey.

<rss-foaf:type name=3D"Person"/>
<rss-foaf:rel
to=3D"http://netmesh.info/jernst-files/rss-foaf-example.xml#Group_Family"/>

I think if I were attempting something similar I think I'd start with
FOAF in RSS 1.0, then try to keep the syntax as close as possible in
RSS 2.0. Making the item a Person is quite interesting, but then the
convention of rss:item having a URI raises the issue of identifying
people with URIs (as described at
http://rdfweb.org/mt/foaflog/archives/2003/07/10/12.05.33/ )

I just posted a proposal to embed FOAF information inside RSS.
It supersedes by previous proposal to come up with an RSS-like
"simple FOAF" -- using RSS as the framework is the better idea.
Blogged about it:
