[foaf-dev] ANN: New FOAF features in Revyu: user profile from FOAF,
owl:sameAs links etc

A quick announcement that Revyu has some new little FOAF-related
features. In addition to the existing FOAF output for all reviewers,
registered users of the site can now add the URL of another FOAF file
to their account. This is then used in 3 ways:
- to supplement your human-readable profile page with additional
information about you (photo, homepage link etc) that isn't otherwise
stored in Revyu.
- as the basis for creating owl:sameAs links between your Revyu URI
and the URI you specify in your FOAF file. If you add a FOAF file to
your account, and that FOAF file links a foaf:PersonalProfileDocument
instance via foaf:primaryTopic to a foaf:Person instance that has a
URI, then that is said to be owl:sameAs your Revyu URI, in the RDF
that Revyu outputs about you.
- as an rdfs:seeAlso in Revyu's RDF output.
If you'd like to see an example, then my profile is a good place
to start. Feedback would be much appreciated. The FOAF parser and the
queries that extract the data for your profile are certainly not
bulletproof at the moment, so to help with testing I'd be particularly
interested in examples where your FOAF generates errors, or you use
the FOAF homepage|name|depiction properties, but this information
doesn't show up on your profile page.
Lastly, if you have already registered but aren't showing on the
People page, you'll need to write a review first. Sorry ;)
