Exactly!

This is why I describe HTTP as: Deceptively Simple, rather than: Simply 
Simple.

Sadly, we are in an era where Simply Simple dominates the landscape 
(exhibit1: Web 2.0). Whereas, in reality we need more Deceptively Simple 
solutions re. Web that inherit from HTTP's essence etc..
