Subject: [payswarm-dev] First pre-alpha draft of WebID specification
To: PaySwarm Development <payswarm-dev at payswarm.com>

I took some time today to collect all of the discussion around the WebID
specification into a semi-official document. I still haven't talked with
Henry Story, Toby Inkster or anybody else that's been involved with
WebID since its inception.

WebID would be an ideal solution for PaySwarm identity management. We
need a way to express a person's PaySwarm provider and adding a single
triple to their WebID would be the easiest way to accomplish this. That
said, it assumes broad implementation of WebID.

Hopefully, this will help get the WebID standardization ball rolling.
Anyone is welcome to help author language for the spec or contribute as
an editor. The source is up on github, feel free to fork it, modify and
let me know when you want to merge text:

If you know how to edit HTML, you can edit the spec. I'll take care of
any technical/editorial nuances if they come up.

Note: This is a completely unofficial specification, was put together in
the course of 3 hours and only reviewed once before pushing it out
there. We'll improve it over the coming months and get it into better
shape for submission to W3C or IETF.
