Ok. It seems like we are on the right track, but the user interaction is a bit mysterious.
I got the same result both in Firefox 3.7a and Chromium nightly build
After being asked for my certificate I get this page:

A non-text attachment was scrubbed...

Type: image/png

I then click "sign up" and get this.

After click a few buttons I come back to something like the previous page it seems.
Then after a little while I do get the following page:
-------------- next part --------------

So +1 that I Was able to get this to work.
But the following need to be improved:
1. On going to that page I should not first be asked for a certificate, before I even know where I am. I should have a page to see and a login button. That is I should see picure 2 first.
2. On clicking login, I should be offered to choose my certificate
3. If there is a delay before I see screen 3, it should be visible that the server
is doing some calculation. My guess is that you are doing some AJAXy thing in the background.
This is a great step forward in any case. But to get Seth Russel happy, there is a bit more work to be done. :-) But it's clearly within reach. (though getting little details like this to work out always takes longer than one thinks!)
