Hi all,

I've been thinking about user-controlled web apps, distributed social
networks and reputation systems for a couple of years now.  Feels like
there's good momentum now and would love to get something going.

I think it will be useful to ground the discussion by looking at use
cases.  I wrote up the ones I could think of:
